Januarvej Extension

An extension to a typical 1960s villa in Esbjerg, combining family living with space for a car-enthusiast household. Clad in black with matching details, the project adds a generous garage for a classic American muscle car and expands the main living area.

The extension reinterprets the existing roof ridge, repeating it twice to clearly express the two new volumes—living space and garage—while large, fully operable doors open the family area towards a south-facing terrace, strengthening the connection between indoors and outdoors.

Drejøgade, alcove unit

A 39 m² apartment reorganised around a built-in sleeping alcove that replaces the traditional kitchen, forming a compact sleeping box within the existing layout.
By reorganising functions into clearly defined zones, the project demonstrates how small living can remain generous—offering multiple spatial experiences tailored to everyday needs within a minimal area.

Baltijos, house for a family member

A 160 m² family house inspired by the proportions and domestic clarity of the English cottage, reinterpreted through a contemporary Scandinavian lens. The building is conceived as a simple, robust volume shaped around everyday life and shared family rituals.

A double-height living space connects ground floor and upper level, allowing light, movement, and visual relationships to flow through the house. Built-in elements and a clear structural logic organise the plan, while generous openings extend family life into the garden. Familiar forms and materials are carefully reworked to create a flexible, enduring home rooted in both context and tradition.
